I can’t think of a better opener for our new venue than The Tom C. Walker Band who make a welcome return visit fresh from their storming gig at the British Rock & Blues Festival.
Tom Walker has been honing his guitar playing from a very young age, earning respect and admiration from music lovers and musicians across the globe. Now at the age of 23 he is driving British blues to new levels from the heart of the UK with his new 4-piece Band.
They Have headlined the most prestigious venues in the UK including Ronnie Scott’s, 100 Club, The Borderline, Ealing Blues Club and a residency at Jools Holland’s The Jam House. They have toured with the likes of The Move, Paul Jones (Blues Band, Manfred Man), Devon Allman and John Lodge (The Moody Blues) to name a few.
The band released their debut EP ’The Stranger’s Face’ in 2016 to outstanding reviews and in 2017 the ’Into Space’ EP with the single ‘Sweet Angel’ racing straight into the top 20 in the IBBA Blues charts while selling thousands of copies worldwide in the first few months of release.
