Bad Influence bring their gutsy R&B style of blues back to the club for another very welcome return visit.
This is, without a doubt, one of the best blues bands on the circuit and it defies all logic that they have not had the recognition they so richly deserve and be rubbing shoulders with the elite of the blues world.
In Val Hayes, with her soulful and powerful vocals, they have one of the best vocalists to be heard in the style of Bonnie Rait and Janis Joplin and is supported by some of the finest musicians on the circuit.
Guitarist Richard Hayes is a master at squeezing every ounce of passion from his guitar and is one of the finest players to have graced our stage. They have the superb Peter Stroud on bass who also plays with Buddy Whittington and was bassist for Peter Green’s Splinter Group and on drums, Harry James, also from the rock bands Thunder and Mag-num.
Bad Influence have definitely paid their ‘dues’ and are now considered by many to be one of the top acts in their field, delivering their sound of powerful vocals alongside classic guitar driven, rock solid blues.
Club favourites and not to be missed!
