Storm Warning are one of Britain's most talented and well respected Blues acts and have earned a reputation as one of the UK’s best and individual blues bands.
Influenced by Robben Ford and Robert Cray, they mix classy self-penned material, with well-chosen covers from artists such as Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Luther Allison, Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Jeff Beck.
Their consummate polish and spark is derived from the Peter Green influenced guitarist Bob Moore. The rest of the band consist of some of the best musicians on the circuit in Stuart Son Maxwell (Mick Ralphs Band) vocals and harp, Russ Chaney (Larry Miller) on drums, Ian Salisbury (Larry Miller Band) on keyboards and Derek White (Larry Miller Band) on bass guitar.
In their 12 year history, the band has featured several times on BBC Radio 2 as well as other radio stations in the UK, Europe and USA. Those that have seen them before at the club, know what to expect. Those that haven’t, you are in for a real treat.
A great night in store.
